First, use less material. The single-phase transformer with the same capacity is 20% less than the iron used in three-phase transformer and 10% less than the copper used in three-phase transformer. Especially when the coil core structure is used, the no-load loss of transformer can be reduced by more than 15%, and the optimal life cycle cost can be obtained.

Second, low investment in transmission lines. Using single-phase power supply system in power grid can save 33%-63% of conductors, 42% of conductor weight can be saved by calculating economic current density, and 66% of conductor consumption can be reduced by calculating mechanical strength.

Third, it is conducive to modern production. Because of its simple structure, single-phase transformer is suitable for large-scale modern production, which is conducive to improving product quality and efficiency.
